Information on the Bar Association for the State of Michigan
The State Bar of Michigan’s Mission Statement says: "“The State Bar shall aid in promoting improvements in the
administration of justice and advancements in jurisprudence, in improving relations between the
legal profession and the public, and in promoting the interest of
the legal profession in this State.” Through its oversight, the State Bar monitors and disciplines any attorney licensed to practice law within the state. Their website has a wealth of information on the Michigan legal system as well as attorney information.
