I don’t know how many times someone has told me "I would have called you, but I didn’t have your phone number." I find this a bit amusing when every attorney licensed to practice law in the State of California must keep their contact information current with the State Bar.

Generally, each state has a Bar Association that regulates the practice of law within the state. If you’re trying to locate an attorney and you cannot find anything through the telephone books and other normal directories, try contacting your state’s bar association.
